I'm Lea and this is my photography journey.

I find that in my life, there is a constant presence of overwhelm and distress, leaching into my personhood and history.

I tried capturing the idea of thinking you're alone when you aren't.

I photograph a lot so naturally I have many contending photos and I usually like to ask around wondering what photo will capture the most eyes and be liked across the board by people and peers.

"Sunflower" was taken during an outing with my sister and her friends. We went to a pumpkin patch in Livermore, California. It was sunny and the atmosphere was dry.

My artwork has always been focused on the Bay Area and primarily on landscapes which I find inspiring.

This artwork was inspired by the Great Gatsby, as the main subject in the image in meant to display Gatsby.

I took this photo with my film camera for a project on "city life" when I was visiting relatives in NYC.

The photo that I have taken is nature at it's finest.

This photo was taken in rush hour on Shattuck Street in Berkeley CA, it was a quick moment that passed mere seconds later and I managed to get the shot.

We were trying to portray how students often feel drowned by many things in their life.

My artwork captures a group of people that is often overlooked or looked down upon for their defiant and abrasive attitudes towards traditional values.

These pictures are pictures that I've taken of some of my favorite artist while following and helping out my brother shoot music videos.

Through my creative expression, I have connected both with myself and with others. I feel as though my view of the world has opened up and I have shifted my perspective in thinking more creatively about the environment around me.

Exploring and expressing my creativity is impactful in my life by enabling the capture of subjective tonal circumstances resulting from captivation to nature during my existence in order to reflect and ponder situations that otherwise might have gone unmeditated.
