About the Creative Youth Awards
The inaugural Creative Youth Awards received over 200 submissions from Bay Area students and distributed more than $17,000 in cash awards. Awards ranged from $100 up to $1,000 for the Presidential Merit.
The 2021 Creative Youth Celebration broadcast recognized the outstanding achievements of the student artists. Hosted by Michael Pritchard, the event featured an inspirational address by BACF Founder Dr. Emil Kakkis, student performances, and a special celebrity appearance by Michael Franti.
All artist applicants received a free year membership to MasterClass - the premier online learning platform that streams lessons delivered by recognized masters of their craft.
