• Artist Statement

  The woman is found pondering in her childhood backyard, reflecting in the place where she grew into who she is. When we feel most lost, we find safety in returning back to a place that reminds us of security and simpleness.

• Creative Statement

  Through my creative expression, I have connected both with myself and with others. I feel as though my view of the world has opened up and I have shifted my perspective in thinking more creatively about the environment around me.
