My artwork is based off of my schools prayer.

“Speaking Out” is an art piece that really connects with me, because it is about speaking up against anything negative in the world.

With this piece, I wanted to challenge myself with my artistic capabilities.

When I went on a school trip to Taiwan, and in one of the schools I visited the students were drawing a model from life.

In March, I went on a WALC camping trip to Yosemite National Park where we went to see the Hetch Hetchy Reservoir.

This artwork is a combination of what I learned in class which was watersheds, resistance and solidarity.

My iconography is a watermelon and segregated water fountain that only Black people were forced to use during segregation, when African Americans were prohibited from using the same water fountains as white people.

This artwork was inspired by nature and the patterns that appear.

When completing my artwork, I tried to come up with something that I enjoyed doing but was also simple.

This artwork is Sora from the popular video game series “Kingdom Hearts” in his “Kingdom Hearts II” outfit.

The ‘Classic Mickey’ is an image of Mickey from the classic Disney movie Fantasia.

This school year we learned about inclusivity and sustainability, and then design our vision of a sustainable city.

This piece is meant to be a realistic portrait or figure drawing of a warrior esque character with intentional lighting and use of shading with charcoal.

For this art project the goal was to renovate a block in San Francisco to make it more inclusive for residents.

The Mimic tells the story of a lost kid named Polaris and how they somehow returned home even after suffering a tragic fate.
