Dinner at the Robinsons
My process for writing this piece was inspired by my old writing in middle school. I would write in a journal about my thoughts that had transformed into writing ideas. Most media that I enjoy has religious horror elements which is one of my favorite horror subgenres and Dinner at the Robinsons was one of the ideas I had but never expanded on.
The Monitor
I wrote this piece to critique the society we live in today, and to bring some of the issues we are faced with to light. I got the inspiration for this piece when I read an article on how some grocery stores have cameras to see what products people like or not.
oh my child
I hope that my piece can help people realize the sooner they start looking at the world through the eyes of the child they once were the sooner they will realize how important it is to never lose that side of yourself.
A Good Amount
The little amount of color makes the image less overwhelming and calmer to look at, especially with the giant pole in the middle with the horizontal pole coming off of it.
A Persimmon’s Perspective
Then I took this picture. This is an image taken through a persimmon. Persimmon is a bright orange fruit, and when cut in half, a flower-looking mandala appears in the center of the fruit.
Soft, Serene Sunset
This photo is really special to me because of the process I went through of slowly finding and incorporating more elements into the photo until it reached its final form. It reminds me of the importance of slowing down and seeing everything around me instead of only fixating on a certain aspect.
Sunset in Ventura
I personally love the photo because it is divided into four sections (top to bottom): the sky, the ocean, the sand, and the rocks. This photo always makes me feel calm and peaceful, and I wanted to share it.
stuck in my head
The subjects of this piece are two of my closest friends who have been in a relationship for 2+ years. Both have had an incredible impact on me, as an artist and individual. I wanted to create a piece that showed my gratitude for the support and inspiration they have provided me.
Palm Springs
I was walking back to my photography class and I saw two palm trees glowing in the corner of my eye behind the nice blue sky.
Raising the Sun
When taking and creating my photographs, I try to consider composition, perspective, and relevance.
mesmerizing puddle
I was on a trip in lake Tahoe when I saw these rocks so I thought they would look good in a picture.
Golden Gate Bridge
In my eyes, it represents the endless possibilities that are waiting for you to be discovered since the bridge is so close to the ocean.
The Random
What made me take this photo was of the people doing their own stuff, some people taking pictures and the others just talking.
The mighty one
When I created this piece of artwork, I really wasn't thinking about anything, my mind was empty and so I was taking pictures of random things around me, that's when I saw this clay bird.
