• Artist Statement

  This photograph reveals the theme of imprisonment and predestined death. They are given a tag and a date for execution, rather than a collar, a bowl of food, and unconditional affection like other creatures are. Their sole purpose is to satisfy human greed and consumption.

• Creative Statement

  I believe creativity to be a form of originality and expression of one's emotions and thoughts. Creativity allows me to manipulate emotions and thoughts into a form of expression such as photography. Creativity is a tool, given in order to create.
