Dinner at the Robinsons

On a cold winter night, an exorcist is invited to a dinner with the Robinson family. After some small talk, the exorcist takes a sip of the odd wine and comments on it. As the night goes on, the exorcist begins to start feeling dizzy and starts sweating. The Robinsons turn up the heating. When the oven rings, the turkey is served alive on the dinner table. The Robinsons reassure the exorcist that everything is just fine.
My process for writing this piece was inspired by my old writing in middle school. I would write in a journal about my thoughts that had transformed into writing ideas. Most media that I enjoy has religious horror elements which is one of my favorite horror subgenres and Dinner at the Robinsons was one of the ideas I had but never expanded on.
