This art piece is a remembrance project, I chose my aunt's dog Kona that I was very close with.

I created this piece with charcoal, depicting Amy Winehouse photographed at the Brit Awards in 2007.

My artwork "Recuerda en Flores" portrays a skeleton head surrounded by four vibrant flowers, This artwork is inspired by the holiday Dia de los Muertos.

This artwork show my interests collaged together.

Going into this I didn't have much of a reason behind my artwork. As I made it I threw things together, ideas, words, elements, and objects.

The main message I wanted to convey through my artwork is the astonishing fact that my culture curated by legendary South Asian poets, artists, singers, and dancers, curated about 5,000 years ago has been kept alive, and is equally admired to this day.

This piece was a venture on my skills, i am not customed to drawing concepts let alone backgrounds, but i think thats what this piece represents, an experiment.

This piece is a digital piece of a persona I've created.

In my art class we had a prompt to create a mash up of our own face and a character that we really liked (combine our faces).

I used charcoal to try to create a realistic portrait of myself.

So to start off I am 15 and I am a Mexican boxer and I love boxing so much I just wanted to draw some gloves and it came out with way much more and with a lot more meaning to me.

This piece represents the longing and process of reminiscing the past and what used to be.
