My artwork "Recuerda en Flores" portrays a skeleton head surrounded by four vibrant flowers, This artwork is inspired by the holiday Dia de los Muertos. This piece is a heartfelt tribute to my unseen grandparents, embracing the tradition of honoring ancestors and celebrating the cycle of life. The vibrant flowers symbolize the enduring connection between generations and family bonds, and the skeleton head represents the timeless spirit of those who have come before. Creating this painting is a way for me to pay homage to my heritage and and learning more about my culture and were my family come from. I think this showcases my artistic talent, By forcing myself to step outside of my comfort zone, I was able to progress as an artist.
