Mother Tongue
I took the Tagalog word used by parents to refer to their child, "Anak," and carved it into the physical surface of the painting using a sharp tool. I also applied several layers of acrylic paint on the background so that upon being carved into, a red color would be revealed.
Hand Drawing
It was an art project for my class where we had to draw our hand doing a certain gesture.
Head with a Thousand Emotions

Consequences of Revenge
When making this piece, a theme that I focused on was revenge. I specifically worked around the consequences of revenge as it can be very destructive and harmful.
The serenity of death
A skull with a crystal embedded in it's forehead rests entangled in a mess of branches, waiting silently in a forest.
Skulls Are Always Smiling
I drew this image at night while listening to music, which is where most of my art comes from.
Never-Ending Wealth

blank canvas
This artwork represents a person being in the middle of tearing apart the façade that she puts up every day, revealing a blank canvas that awaits her next face painting the very next day.
