I loved the contrast between life and death across the axis of the photo. It shows a beautiful comparison between this bright, happy, vibrant, flower in peak condition and then transitions to this dull, weak, dying flower on its last legs of life.

This photo is of a horse at a stable where I ride often. I like to photograph horses because I think they are beautiful.

Making my artwork is like a way for me to capture my own thoughts in an image. I think one of the things that I love the most about photography is that, though we are all looking at the same picture, not everyone will have the same perspective, or feeling as others.

I decided to take this picture through a window into a basketball court with the reflection on the window of the green leafs in the background.

I tried to find the beauty and significance in insignificant things especially garbage.

My class visited the California Academy of Sciences for a field trip. While we were there, we wandered through and marveled at all of the different exhibits. The one that most sparked my interest was the aquarium.

This photograph was taken during a sunny day photoshoot; I saw the opportunity, and I took it.

This is a uniquely edited photo, I was experimenting with natural landscapes and was trying to change the circumstance of the photo from a sunny day to a fiery winter.

I have selected this photo because of how weird and strange the photo feels. The way I positioned it, the cabinet at almost a 45 degree angle, and the small mirror on the left side, also at about a 45 degree rotation, is angled in such a way that the part of the right cabinet being reflected off the mirror on the left looks like it is just another part of the cabinet, when the left corner is hidden behind the larger cabinet.

This is a unique technique in photography called painting with light. I set up my camera and set it to long exposure and quite literally painted around the flowers with light.

This photo to me shows how unique some things can be. A pink and blue fire is not something you typically see every day. I took this on a camping trip over quarantine when the only time we could see our friends was outside because of COVID.

When I took the photo I purposely made it slightly blurry to show how my vision changes. This photo showed my emotions while in that situation which is what I strive to no.

I took this photo while waiting for the subway at a downtown Toronto station.

I went down to the Berkeley Marina and was able to catch some birds in flight.

My intention while creating these pieces was to express something from within myself, but also give the opportunity for others to reflect and get something out of it as well.

I used this photo for a news story for my high school newspaper about Sausalito's floating concerts amidst COVID-19.

This photo was taken in my garden. Climate change is a very important issue to me and bees are a huge part of keeping our ecosystem stable.

Walking over a bridge, I hear the screaming of children's antics along with the splashing of water.

The artistic process that I have while making my artwork is that I like to take photos of things people would like to see as well as things that I would like to see. I like to add different types of elements into different types of photos such as adding texture to the photo, taking out the noise, as well as playing with the colors in the photos.
