The Protector
My inspiration can be traced back to my Asian heritage and my family. As a Vietnamese-American, it is difficult to connect to my culture while living in a foreign country, but I desire to maintain and improve upon my current connection to the motherland. To do so, I use my art as a way to learn more about my culture and implement my knowledge into my art pieces.

Young Greek Philosopher
Two summer vacation trips inspired this artwork. In 2023, I visited Paris, where one of my favorite paintings was ”A Sunday Afternoon On The Island of La Grande Jatte” (Georges Seurat) at the Musee d’Orsay.
