Observing the visage of that general from three millennia ago.

I’ve collected items I use to be creative, my ukulele, old sketchbooks, poetry book, but to me I didn’t a simple still life for my work.

This piece was part of a project in my ¾ ceramics class, where we were asked to create something inspired by tarot cards.

I’ve always been a passionate person, and I’ve been extremely interested in the Persona game series recently.

This is an original piece created by me for no other reason than wanting to make something that would inspire awe in the viewer.

My inspiration can be traced back to my Asian heritage and my family. As a Vietnamese-American, it is difficult to connect to my culture while living in a foreign country, but I desire to maintain and improve upon my current connection to the motherland. To do so, I use my art as a way to learn more about my culture and implement my knowledge into my art pieces.

The piece begins with 3 different devices using lithium ion batteries.

Two summer vacation trips inspired this artwork. In 2023, I visited Paris, where one of my favorite paintings was ”A Sunday Afternoon On The Island of La Grande Jatte” (Georges Seurat) at the Musee d’Orsay.

Vietnam, Summer of 2024 As I stood there by the window, breathing fast from the heat and excitement of the day, I saw the balconies.

I took this photo on a day trip to Pacifica with my best friend.

I was in Rome over the summer and passing through a tunnel when the lights were creating an interesting effect.

These photos were taken on a little trip with my friends and were inspired by an idea that came up while my friend and I were discussing the infinite connection between humans and the vastness of nature.
