This photo, taken on a macro lens, holds one of them: a perfectly round drop of dew, reflecting the blue of the sky, presented on a blade of grass as if it is an offering.

I made this image by trying to make something out of nothing.

The reason I choose this photo is because I really like the look and feeling of It. The sky in this photo is one of the best parts because in the original photo there was no sky it was covered with clouds. But I fixed it and now when you see the sky it pops if I had one emotion for this picture it would be wow.

I used my partner's sister as my model and took the photo with a Canon EOS REBEL SL1.

I was trying to experiment with street photography in San Francisco, especially in a low light setting. As I was walking down Market Street hoping to find street performers, I turned a corner into a man drumming on pots and pans.

In the photo I selected, I chose to take a photo of the pumpkin in a puddle because it has a comedic sadness to it. I feel like the leaves around the pumpkin help make the background more interesting and add more of a fall vibe to the photo.

This photograph was taken on Maui at a tucked away beach known as Slaughter House. When we arrived after a walk through a jungle, one could see the cliffs stretching out toward the horizon.
