This piece is a ”story” of fantasy and how life can be full of fantasy.

”All great things must come to end.” I find it fascinating how a grand empire such as Rome fell --- what used to be known as the ’Eternal City’ is shattered and a remnant of the distant past.

I created this dress to represent how overwhelming homework can get, to the point where it could feel like I was drowning. I made it by gluing my old homework together with hot glue into the shape of a dress, painting a heart onto it, then spilling down watered-down acrylic paint to mimic blood.

This still life was a piece created in from our unit on charcoal pencils.
