Unknown path
The collection of pictures you see are all based around the theme of things Yulieth likes to do or feels. She uses the power of shadows to enhance a deep and dark atmosphere within her pictures while also exposing her pictures to the divinity of brightness and shining light into them to portray a positive and angelic feeling.
The Second Coming
During my artistic process, I spend a lot of time trying to figure out what would work best as a photo for what I'm trying to express.
used to be
I saw these same walls for 15 years of my life, I want people to see this piece and to feel what I felt.
theory of nothing
This piece was for a project in my multimedia art class, I tried to draw inspiration from the 'the theory of relativity' because I find that particular piece to be very interesting.
Sunset in the snow
My photo was captured in Tahoe when the sun was setting and I tried to capture the trees to make almost a black outline of them to add to the photo while getting the sunset and some mountains in the far background.
Erosion
As time passes, we humans erode, both physically and mentally. Not only do our appearances change, but so do the way we view the world. Thanks to our personal experiences, the people around us, and our environment, how the world is presented to us will change and, in turn, will further shape us as individuals.
Textured Shadows
My main focus was to capture the detail and texture of this room and how the light coming from the windows changes the meaning. This image portrays a dark room with light seeping through from the window.
holy ghost
This photo is part of a series I made called "Alone with The Town," in which I explored the streets of Oakland at night, enjoying their comforting loneliness, and capturing their eccentricities.
Stroll By The Bay
I chose this composition because I loved the perspective from behind the branches. In photography, it is prevalent that people take a step forward, getting rid of the objects behind you. Instead, I took a step back into the brush, accepting what came behind me.
Life&Lemons
Art is something someone created to express a unique thing to them. Of course this varies and the word "unique" is sometimes hard to attach to a mediocre picture of a building, object, or person. But none the less, it is all unique.
Tall buildings
Took a walk around San Francisco Bay Area with my friends, took pictures and thought this one was really cool.
