Until I Moved to Oakland
This film was about the cultural identities that defines me. Beliefs that I grew up believing because of my upbringing and ethnicity. Things that were taught to me as a child.
ADDA Manmohini
This particular piece is choreographed by me and demonstrates how art doesn't know boundaries and can be beautifully merged seamlessly.
Take 5 by P. Desmond
I chose to perform Take Five by Paul Desmond. I love the way this tune lets you play with whatever you want to convey.
Violin Concerto in D Major, Op. 35 by P.I. Tchaikovsky

Liebestraum No. 3 in A-flat Major by F. Liszt
Liebestra¨ume (German for "Dreams of Love") comprises a series of three piano works by Franz Liszt. These works were originally conceived as lieder (songs) based on three poems that described different types of love. Liebestra¨ume No. 3 in A-flat major, the third and most popular work, is the piece that I chose to perform. It is based on a poem about “unconditional mature love.”
Moanin' by A. Blakely, made famous by C. Mingus
My art is based of a Jazz piece called Moanin. It is very popular baritone saxophone piece, and an amazing jazz song. I made it so it’s not too long, has a the Bari solo for most of it, some trombone for the background music (note: I’m barely learning to play trombone) and ended it off with a little clarinet solo.
Intermezzo, Symphonie Espagnole by E. Lalo
This piece: Intermezzo in Symphonie Espagnole by Lalo, was the first time I had attempted to play Lalo. Over the months I took to prepare for this piece, I felt that I grew musically with the mental and physical energy needed to execute the technical runs, and to sustain the passionate energy throughout.
Imagine by J. Lennon
I recently started trying to learn how to sing, and I already knew how to play "Imagine" on piano, so I really just added singing to my playing. I am very new to both however, so it took me a while to actually be able to do both at once.
Bassoon Duet, Op. 3 by F. Devienne
This music I performed is something that is short and sweet. I tried making it seem like a dance feel free. It was so much fun to create, did take a while.
Graffiti Beach
"Graffiti Beach" is an acrylic painting on loose canvas. It is 27 by 36 inches. I made this of a pipe covered in graffiti at Fort Funston beach when I was there.
Flute Concertino by C. Chaminade
This piece was written in 1902 by Cecile Chaminade, one of the most well-known female classical composers, and is one of the most popular flute pieces among students today.
Violin Concerto in E minor, Op. 64 by F. Mendelssohn
As long as I remember I have loved music. I started to learn to play the violin when I was 4 years old. Except for my great-great grandfather no one in my family has ever played this instrument, so I do not really recall why I asked my parents and insisted that I wanted to learn the violin. I started on a tiny violin and still remember all the Twinkle variations with which I started.
Clair de lune by C. Debussy
This video is a piece of me, and this song will continue to be the anthem of my heart and soul for as long as I shall hear it.
Echidna’s Arf (Of You) by F. Zappa
My artwork is a guitar cover of the composition "Echidna's Arf (Of You)" by Frank Zappa.
The Great Fairy Fountain by K. Kondo, Arr. E Zimmerman
This piece was originally composed by Koji Kondo for a harp. In phrasing this performance, I kept the idea of the harp in mind- specifically for the runs of arpeggios. Additionally, I keep the thought of a firefly in mind when performing this piece.
Pulled from Addams Family, by A. Lippa
Pulled is one of my favorite songs to perform from the Addams Family musical revolving around Wednesday's struggles with new feelings all around while trying to stay true to the Addams name.
Etude in Ab Major, Op. 1, No. 9 by F. Liszt
The artwork is an interpretation of a piece written by Franz Liszt in the seventeenth century.
To Make You Feel My Love by Bob Dylan
This is our cover of Bob Dylan’s “To Make You Feel My Love.”
