Moanin' by A. Blakely, made famous by C. Mingus

Diego A.

  • My art is based of a Jazz piece called Moanin. It is very popular baritone saxophone piece, and an amazing jazz song. I made it so it’s not too long, has a the Bari solo for most of it, some trombone for the background music (note: I’m barely learning to play trombone) and ended it off with a little clarinet solo. I am really content with how it came out, it was fun, and if would of maybe edited some parts better, it could’ve came out better but my editing skills aren’t to great. I present to you, Diego A.’s version of Moanin! ?? one of my favorite Jazz pieces of all time!

  • Creativity to me means doing something you love, by doing it your way, and making it unique to you and to the world to see
