A Letter to the World
My piece reflects the faults of our troubled society and how they have taken a toll on the World, something barely anyone seems to take note of.
Paranoid
Paranoid is a short story about being betrayed by your mind and fighting constantly. The story is really a metaphor for mental health and how it can deteriorate. The monsters are intrusive thoughts that always stick with you. With this story, I really wanted to explore how people deal with these thoughts, their "monsters".
submitted at 11:59
I was (and am) a huge procrastinator for essays. I remember once when I submitted an essay exactly at 11:59, and I felt that the panic and adrenaline I had then was completely indescribable.
In My Nightstand Drawer
For the longest time, I always had the mantra that I was not an "art person", I wasn't a particularly talented painter and my sight reading musical notes needed a little bit of work. I, of course, never viewed writing as a form of art or expression but rather as a homework assignment. But, an English class essay changed that.
The Retribution of He
This piece is a micro fiction focused on misguided religious beliefs and trauma within the church.
