Third Culture Kid is a painting that explores my cultural identity living in a culture that has been difficult for me to connect with. I moved from Spain when I was 7, and was born to Argentine/English parents. This painting expresses feelings of danger, peace, and separation.

Painting is my self expression and how I tune into my thoughts and feelings. It's how I communicate to others how it feels being raised by parents with so many different background. Painting self portraits is how I explain to myself where I am in the world as a first generation immigrant.
