The artwork of mine I chosen is one of my favorites. It’s a portrait done with color pencils and a white ink pen giving it a pale but slightly colored complexion. I done it very spontaneously but I’ve discovered some of my best works are unplanned. The idea was to try and create an old English renaissance painting of how they would do a portrait. Of course with my work I like to add things that compliment my own personal taste and draw it with a common medium I use. It took hours of my time to create for I have the habit to start and finish something in one sitting. I had to be very delicate with every mark I made on the paper to not create any dark spots and to keep the desaturated look. I’m very proud of this piece and hope to share this drawing I’ve done with others.

Being able to explore the art world with many different types of people and creations is something I love being apart of. I have always sketched or doodled in a book and mainly started out with just a pencil and worked my why up to many different types of mediums.
