Manta rays are intriguing creatures, and when a picture of one ended up on my Twitter feed, I knew they would be a great choice in this work. Mantas Above Rays depicts a squadron of these fresh, friendly fish swimming about and having fun above bright rays of color. The sea is a place filled with different colors, and I wanted to portray that side of the salty waters in this artwork.

It permits me to explore more about myself, and the things I enjoy as well. Drawing has found me communities and friends who share similar interests with me, as well as making my life a more enjoyable experience than what it could have been without. It is a vessel of my ideology in a way.
