This piece, "Lights Up", expresses a light in the dark. The crinkled paper - done with graphite - expresses the feeling of heartbreak, while the colorful background - done with chalk pastels - depicts the hope that still lies within us. This piece was inspired by my love of music and how you can still find beauty within a sad song.
