Lights at Home

Before covid, I sat in my seat just randomly thinking about what I could do to make my art appealing to my eyes because I would be the one staring at it. So without a thought, I thought of pretty northern lights to accommodate the snowy winter night. And after the first piece, I ended up with 2 more pieces. And it was made into a series. In the middle of working on the 2nd piece, I realized that I added a bit of mystery to my 1st piece because of the footprints that I drew in. I realized that my inner emotions crept out, of wanting to find somewhere to call home even when the environment around me is astonishing and grand. So in a way where all 3 pieces are storytelling myself, finding my way home, surrounded by the northern lights.

Exploring and expressing my creativity impacts my life because I am able to see many things from different perspectives. Not only that but also being able to express myself in ways I never thought I would be able to. It also helps improve the range of people I may encounter in my life.
