Flesh and Time

Lin B.

  • My fear of getting older inspired this piece. The younger face transitions into the older face, representing the process of aging over time. The only materials I used for this piece were a black piece of paper and a white charcoal pencil.

  • Drawing is my source of connection. With each stroke of a pencil, I aim to fully capture even subtle human emotions, conveying messages that can’t be described with words. By drawing compelling portraits, I am able to deepen my personal connections and give others the gift of being seen.
