Fisheye

Lolo B.

  • My love for photography and art inspired this piece. While I wanted creative and unique work, I also wanted it to resemble my passions. I ended up drawing myself in a fisheye view while holding a camera. Although the center piece of the art was simple the background is complex, strange, and was supposed to draw you into the center. I spent the most effort on my color process for this textile. I started by making it with black and white then gradually added bits of color until it was bursting with various hues.

  • Exploring and expressing my creativity is what gives me motivation and happiness. Art is an outlet for me and an escape from the rest of the world. Art allows me to express myself and communicate my feelings through color and design. It offers me a mental vacation and a break from stress in my life.
