The Phoenix, a mythical bird that rises from the ashes, serves as a thematic embodiment of the human spirit's inclination towards breaking free from the shackles of conformity; it represents the fervent desire for self-actualization and individualism. The newspaper comics, as a medium, known for its narrative structure, formulaic characters and stereotypical representations, serves as an allegory for societal norms and traditional expectations that tend to stifle self-expression.
