• Artist Statement

  This piece is a combination of a self portrait and prominent works from art history. It includes my renditions of Auguste Rodin's 'Eve', Claude Monet's 'Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies', and Georgia O'Keefe's 'Red Poppy'. I've always been fascinated by the art that came before me, and have allowed it to inspire and influence my work. This is my homage to my favorite artists.

• Creative Statement

  Art is one of the most important things in my life, it’s how I express myself and a way to relieve stress from school. I’ve loved art ever since I was a little kid, and I still enjoy to learn, practice and develop my skills to make art that I’m proud of.
