• Artist Statement

  Image By You encapsulates every challenge that is completely unique to our generation. It metaphorically elaborates on the ways that social media has warped our “images”of ourselves through the subconscious manipulation of our concept of beauty and self worth. It’s a very personal piece that attempts to advocate for a universal issue. I believe it’s crucial that we shed light on this issue as it will continue to prevail and poison the mindsets of future generations if something isn’t altered.

  Creativity, and writing, have been an avenue to expose others to a side of me that I don't ordinarily express. I believe that creativity is a means to share some of your deepest, most meaningful thoughts in an undefined and limitless manner.
