• Artist Statement

  I wrote this poem mainly as a way to come to terms with the manipulation I had to deal with growing up. I think that throughout developing this poem it just felt like the words were flying out of my brain straight onto the paper and it let me release and cope with my feelings in a safe way.

• Creative Statement

  I think creativity is one of the best ways to reflect on yourself and the world around you through a different lens. When I was younger I would let my imagination wander to let me create a safe space in my head to process things around me, without creativity that would not have been possible.
