My name is Olga K. and I am a high school student in grade 10. The pieces of poetry that I have submitted are very dear and important to me. Over the journey of writing these, I spent a lot of time revising, perfecting, and most significantly, finding my true voice with the topics I have shined a light on. I never realized how much passion I can pour into my words, and writing these powerful pieces helped me gain greater inspiration. These poems are centered around social issues, arranged marriages/sex trafficking, and toxic masculinity, as well as one about fantasy. Pointing out these problems, which are rarely talked about, is influential to those who are affected by them. Giving a voice to those impacted, is necessary for change, and change is what we need.

Creativity means an aspect of life which can not be produced at a general level, or perceived to a substantial amount of people. It is something that needs to come from the soul and heart. It also demonstrates the person's way of changing what they have been offered in life into what they love.
