Adrian V.

  • This piece is about my experience with mental health and how tumultuous it can be, especially with trauma. It encapsulates different struggles i’ve gone through and how those struggles were handled in my life, as well as how they came to be. I want to show that all of those feelings go away in time, and that sickness isn’t equivalent to weakness.

  • To me, creativity means the allowance one grants to oneself to let go and express. It means bearing my mind to paper and transforming my experiences into words. Creativity is my form of therapeutic release.
