I was greatly inspired to do a poster advertisement that affected the lives of animals. One day, my mother told me a random fact about how sea turtles are 99% female due to the warming earth. I was suddenly struck with the idea to make a satirical poster that would support the warming of the oceans. I did research and found out that animals like crocodiles and sea turtles are temperature dependent sex determined animals. In other words, if their eggs are within a certain temperature threshold, then their sex will differ. I made a grainy looking poster that would depict one of two characters promoting the idea of warming the oceans. To make the art piece look more like an official advertisement, I even added a logo at the top left corner of the page.

To me, creativity is an important fundamental concept that is needed in order to create things with a certain level of originality. I believe that this creativity stems from each individual’s real life experiences and the things they have seen throughout their life combining together with their imagination.
