The first time I met my brother, I was a little kid, and I didn’t really understand what this meant. When he was born, it felt alienating, co-exisiting in this space was new. I was young and this wasn’t right. As time grew on we became alienated. I created this piece because at the heart of everyone, is a internal desire to have a family- to feel accepted. The characters I write, at the end of the day just want a family, and I think that speaks true to not only me, but everyone. I made this film in a weekend, as when an idea comes to mind, it needs to be released.

Film is such an intrinsic medium. It reads like the crossroads to every single great art. A good movie is a combination of writing and music and art in the best way possible. A great film can be more widespread in our current cultural zeitgeist than anything else can be.
