Cycle

Lena N.

  • While writing this story, which I decided to call Cycle, I thought about turning into you the thing you hate. Sometimes, we have these ideals in our minds, and somehow if we look in the mirror, we realize we’ve forgotten them. We realize we have become the kind of person we’ve dreaded. Well not completely embodying this concept in my story, it speaks of becoming the creature you feared, in this case a deadly killer alien. Then, forgetting about the people you loved, and hurting them without knowing. That is another one of my nightmares, that somehow one of the people I love will die. This story represents that, the combination of worst nightmares piled into one story. One girl. The warning it offers is valuable, especially in the society we live in today. Today, if everyone does something, then we all follow along. That needs to change.

  • Creativity is the ability to think of something original, based off your own thinking. The ability to think of a story, not copied from something else. Yet, that is just a definition. Creativity is freedom. It has no limits, no judgments, and no barriers. I love it.
