Cello Concerto in E minor, Op. 85, Mov. 3 by E. Elgar

Toni F.

  • Cello Concerto in E minor by Edward Elgar was his last major work. He composed it after World War I in an attempt to capture his feelings that Europe would never be the same after the war. It began to gain popularity in 1955, and has since become one of the most performed cello concertos.

  • Creativity is your own unique expression of yourself, that is visible in everything you do. In playing music, it is the interpretation that you provide of how the music feels to you, and what makes each individual musician interesting, even if they’re playing the same piece.
