• Artist Statement

  To me, a Houdini escape trick like this, is about performing being alright. You struggle and struggle, but in the end, the person always will succeed. For myself however, I feel like I’ve been drowning, trapped in performing being okay for others because admitting otherwise feels impossible.

• Creative Statement

  Being creative is how one expresses oneself and their ideas. It can take shape in many mediums and forms. Creativity for myself is exploring characters and worlds because I’d much rather be there than in reality.
