For my piece, Control, I used photoshop to sketch out my subject and border to resemble greek artwork like on pots, columns, etc while also adding my own personal touch to the style. For this piece I created an original border and subject drawing while also experimenting with textured brushes and gradient maps to created the dynamic background. Something I struggled with throughout my process was creating a balance and depth whilst also only using two colors, orange and black. Despite this, I rose above and created an artwork that I’m really proud of.
