Emerald Castle
I love using themed metaphors in my songs, and this one is no different. Through the world of the Wizard of Oz, my song goes through the feelings of giving someone so many chances, but they never change. It’s about realizing that change is a lost cause though part of you doesn’t want to accept it.
The Vast Cosmos
This is a peice about humanities leap to the stars. it is filled with mystery and suspense as humans explore space and finely meet new people.
Through the Grey
This piece isn't about anything particular. I was just noodling around with things I thought sounded good on a new guitar I had just bought and stumbled across this progression.
Missing You
This is a song that I wrote about how when you really love someone, that love never fades or lessens. I wrote this song as a draft a couple of months ago and finished it recently.
The Second Person
I wrote, recorded and produced this song in March of 2023 in my room, with my PC, MIDI keyboard and blue bass guitar that can be heard throughout.
Bokair's Lament
This song is part of a larger project I’ve been working on. It’s one of the songs in a musical I’m writing about a soldier named Bokair, who's been tasked with leading an army against a fire goddess named Taitia in order to end her war on his homeland.
The End
I chose this song that I made not that long ago because when I think back to it and how I was doing and what I was thinking around the time I made it and I was going through a hard time. I was dealing with depression and making music and listening to music was one of the things I could hold on to, to keep me going.
Progressively Later Game
This is a musical piece in 4/4 that i made over the course of a week. It is at 156 bpm. The piece was inspired by the musical style of the cross examination themes from popular video game series Ace Attorney.
Diamonds in the Sea
I wrote this song for my boyfriend for our one-year anniversary. I wanted to lyrically tell him how much I loved him and how much he's helped me shine. He had doubted himself in the past thinking that he was not doing enough.
Just This Time
This is a R&B beat that I made a while back in August of 2023, but when I recently found it again I knew it would be the perfect beat to submit to this competition. I've been making beats for over a year now, so I have enough experince to feel confident in this beat that I made.
Waste the Time
As the band duo Rental we make, mix, and master our music from our bedrooms. For our song “Waste the Time,” we created the instrumental of the in the summer of 2023 and worked on it for months.
One More Night
I’ve been a fan of electronic music my whole life. Around four years ago, I thought it would be fun making my own. So, my music production journey began.
Completionist
This song is about over achievement and how it is unhealthy to try to accomplish or do everything at once. The song gives off vibes of video game music.
days gone
Well i made the music cause i thought it would be fun and cause my teacher said that we get a grade and so i thought i would do one of the hardest one to do by far so i did music after the first day i went home and started mixing and then asked one of my friends to send me a guitar riff then me and michael riverbed it then we slapped it on youtube to turn it in
sympathetic heart
I made this song on October 7, 2023, drawing inspiration from the television show 'BoJack Horseman.' Written from his perspective, the entire song delves into the theme of forgiveness while emphasizing the importance of one not forgetting someone's mistakes.
Don’t Work
A cool blend of R&B and Soul with bouncy production, a catchy hook, and an old-school feel. This self-written and self-produced track dives into a person's experience moving on from a relationship that, when reflected on, didn't work since the start.
