• Artist Statement

  A cool blend of R&B and Soul with bouncy production, a catchy hook, and an old-school feel. This self-written and self-produced track dives into a person's experience moving on from a relationship that, when reflected on, didn't work since the start. The artist describes how they put their partners feelings over their own, and how being filled with false hope ended up completely backfiring on them. Despite this, we see the artist move past those experiences and grow from them, because "that s**t don't work".

• Creative Statement

  Creativity is my ability to express myself through art and tell the world my story. Music is both a mirror in which I am able to reflect and a projector in which I can share my experiences.
