Sitting Man

Jordan T.

Charcoal

  • My still life composition shows a man sitting atop a large stone throne. He is surrounded by various things, a chalice, coffee cup, and ghost bottle. This drawing took multiple days and many hours to complete but learning how to use charcoal throughout this process was really fun. I especially loved capturing the texture of the stick and stone in this drawing and made effective use of contrast throughout.

  • It means freedom of expression is one of the most beautiful aspects of human existence and highlights uniqueness as well as individuality.
