I wrote this piece in class when every patch of my academic competence had dried into dust. Sometimes I can my writing mind teetering into this other eccentric place. Usually, I ignore this side, re frame from any of its odd aspects, but on this special day: hot and estranged from my studies, it only felt right to follow its voice. This story can be summed up to a kid who is being pulled apart to the ignorant structure of the american school systems and the ideal lifestyle parents will label their kid's futures with. She has no where else to go but this window, through it she sees life, not a common view for her to freely see. On that hot, uncomprehending day she romanticizes that life of freedom, struggling not to fall right into it.

It's a form of hope created by the brains who are looking for a portal away from the everyday life we are trapped in. Its one of the only things you have that can't be enriched or tainted through money or material, only the amount of hope one has.
