• Artist Statement

  While on a photo shoot at school, we were capturing water balloons and motion. I decided to get behind the action and shoot everything backlit. The result was a photo with some detail but not interesting. I tried experimenting with a curves edit in photoshop and after a lot of work I was able to recover the little droplets creating a galaxy like image. I found it to be visually compelling and interesting.

• Creative Statement

  It allows me to get out of the classroom and really be myself. I think it is important for all to find something they love doing and pursuing it, even if it is just a hobby.
