As I looked back at my past photos, I came across a portrait of my friend holding flowers up to her nose. I wanted to capture her bright essence in this moment of beauty by dramatizing the lighting and setting the spotlight on her. Although she appears smothered in a midst of shadows, I hope that one will notice the glimmer of hope in her eyes and find solace in times of darkness, just like she inspired me to.

I believe that creativity is a lifestyle in its own nature; being able to express my imagination through the arts allows me to not only convey emotions in limitless new ways, but also helps me to understand more about myself.
