The Last Dawn

Bo L.

  • We woke at 5 in the morning on our last day on vacation. Determined to see the sunrise before we return to normality, we drove an hour to the beach, making panicked stops on the way as we asked ourselves if we could make it on time.

Eventually we did, just ten minutes before the sun reared its shining head. The sea was tranquil, calm with gentle ripples back and forth, swaying before the vastness as it filled our vision from edge to edge.

Then the sun rose, and along with it our hopes for a satisfying journey. The dawn of today signals the dusk of tomorrow, a cycle back and forth.

So as such, I am glad to present my photo, "The Last Dawn".

  • I take photos to capture moments my mind cannot envelop. From the deepest of cerulean blues to the brightest of shining gold, my photos make my life memorable a frame and an image at a time.
