That Funny Feeling

Louise E.

  • This piece was meant to reflect the bittersweet feeling of change. In the past year, I've been hit with the realization of my own graduation from childhood and the loss of 3 family members. While I know saying goodbye to the things I've loved dearly and known all my life will be difficult, there's still a building feeling of anticipation for what's next. The spotlight serves as a reminder that no matter what happens, whether devastating or enlightening, it'll still be me in the end.

  • When Iā€™m drawing, I fall into a trance-like state for hours on end, focusing on getting the gleam of the eyes and textures of each fur stroke just right. Through exploring photorealism, I have developed a great appreciate.
