Every piece that I have made starts with a thought process of what I've seen or hear in my life. Based on the world today. I tend to focus on the social consciousness of African Americans today and the racial stereotypes. With all the violence and stereotypes, it tends to magnify that notion about them in my art pieces. As I am an African American male who grew up in Oakland, CA, I give hints in my work to show the truth about the iniquity views on people that we place on each other.

When I have something on the canvas, I express my true self with no filters. I get to express myself without feeling judgment, a sense of a voice that speaks to people with purpose. Every piece I do has a message, as I tend to focus on the social consciousness of African Americans today.
