This piece is titled, "Speedpaint". I have never used Procreate before and for the Creative Youth Awards, I wanted to try out a new digital art program. In this piece, I used my OC Aria as the center. I then used a balance of cool and warm tones to create a background depicting a brick wall with spray paint. My goal for this piece was to incorporate different shades of purple, whether it be in the characters design or background. There was definitely challenge in using a whole new platform with unfamiliar materials. However, I believe this piece turned out much better than I thought it would and I was able to learn how to use new stylized brushes.
