• Artist Statement

  I drew two Folkloric dancers which remined me of when I would dance as a child. I made their outfits grey and black to represent sorrow that I've felt in my life. I also included semi colons on the guys Charro which is there to represent mental health awareness and my personal struggle with it. But what brings color into their lives is the Mexican flag behind them.

  Expressing my creativity is stressful because I’m never satisfied.
