• Artist Statement

  Title: RED and Gray (Collision of hearts)

  Medium: Clay

  My artwork was made with an even slab of clay. Then I used some thin clay to make the next layers. After that I carved the veins. Lastly I used a heart stamp to cut out tiny hearts for the background.

• Creative Statement

  I think this artwork shows how I explored using clay for the first time. I feel like I was creative when I used the heart stamp. I feel like I can really use clay to show the world my, friends and family how clay can be used differently.
