This photograph is of a gloomy back alley in San Francisco Chinatown. SF's Chinatown is such a fulfilling place for photography among my friends and I, and this shot was taken on one of our many journeys there. I not only really love the tone of this photo, but almost feel it's a milestone for me in this hobby. This is one of a few photographs I've taken that have made me step back and think, "wow, I'm actually quite proud of that”.

Photography not only leads me to go out, explore, and express myself, but simultaneously allows me to connect with both friends and the world around me.
